When you start a limited company in Ireland, the first thing you need to do is to register the name of your business with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).

For the registration you need to submit the required forms to the CRO, along with the registration fee: 40 euros for paper filling or 20 euros for electronic filling.

Other Registration Taxes

When you set up a limited company in Ireland, you should consider that there could be other registration taxes, like the VAT registration and the employer tax registration.

You will need the VAT registration only if you sell more than 37,500 euros in services or 75,000 euros in goods.

If you hire someone, you must also pay the employer tax registration nine days after hiring your first employees.
